hey man, about the sx frame in whistler, sorry i wont trade, as i already have a local buyer for the frame (hopefully he wont ditch me). But I would buy your frame right away if youre selling.
Just so you know the actual top-tube is 556mm and the horizontal is 596mm. Im pretty sure the horizontal is the 'common' one.

I have tried it on my local track it feels that I can go faster on the techy bit and pedaling sections. We'll see.... I'm still slowly building my 09 demo 8, so the sxt will be my weapon for thenext 2 races coming up.

I don't like the XT.... I got code mixxed up with Juicy 3 levers. The old levers are f*cked so while waiting for the parts I swapped them.I'm also changing the wheelset to atomlab pimplite with hope pro2 hubs next week. I love how it goes uphill so easy even if its slow hahahaa.... I might use it for the next race to see how fast I can go with the sxt against the dh bikes. should be fun

They are pretty useless. They don’t have much to offer. Job security isn’t secure. With a union, you are required to do the bare minimum and if you do more, you are the outcast in the workforce and other employees make you know it. Most jobs offer the same benefits and raises without having to pay union fees. Also, if there is a strike, you don’t get your full wage. You get strike pay which barely lets you live while the strike is going on. They are just dangerous.

i've unfortuneatelly heard many story's about the 40, I learned quickly to top the oil after EVERY ride ...what a pain in the ass. I know a few guy's who I ride with that have 40's and love em' so, it seem's that they have possibly worked out some of the bug's.. possibly I just got a lemon but when I send it back to fox factory and they Re-build it and miss a crack in the arch and charge me 150 bucks for the "service".... I say BOOOOOOOOOO
I now own a 07 888 Rc2x and Wouldn;t trade it for anything.. this thing feels great and is bomb-proof, I recently landed a 20 foot drop Pretty shittily and my fork didn;t complain one bit ( not so for my rim ) but that same drop claimed my 40 3 times ... It suck's holding back when riding due to fear that the next drop could mean not riding for a couple of week's.. Hope your luck continues..

dmadness wrote
Sep 8, 2008 at 17:04
yeah a 40, broke the rebound cartridge 6-7 times, cracked the Arch.. also owned a Dhx and Blew it up twice and it always pin-hole leaked air ( was NEVER resolved by fox ), a vanilla R shock that exploded also, a vanilla rc Shock that was the only thing that Worked for me, but felt like poo. fox gloves that lasted 2 day's, a fox jacket that ripped while taking it off one day... lol... bad luck with Fox i've had..

That Glory isn't mine. Frown It's a friend's. I am currently riding m brother's old race bike, a 2006 V10 since he upgraded to the '08 version. I wasn't intending on riding DH this year because of my torn ACL from a couple seasons back. Originally, I was going to build up a new DH rig but decided against it since I was away so much this summer. However, I have been eyeing a Glory for the past few seasons but it weighs a tad too much for my liking. However, I am still considering it for '09.

laurie1 wrote
Aug 21, 2008 at 20:21
The LG1 that was on the Glory got smashed so the guide was changed to a spare SRS. It normally runs Atlas FR cranks too.

I am with some friends who don’t ride. We are going up to Womenzworx because they offer some kickass riding clinics that are heavily discounted and I thought I would introduce some of my roadie and XC friends into some aggressive trail riding and some light DH realms of the sport. Since I am with a predominantly female crowd, riding isn’t really high on the priority list. Rather, this is somewhat of a week of R&R, some shopping, and some clubbing. However, we will be in Whistler a few nights to take in some Crankworx festivities.

I am in Whistler tomorrow morning for Womenzworx and I am staying there overnight until Tuesday when I will arrive back in Vancouver. Then, once I am done doing all of my business related stuff in Vancouver, I will head back up to Whistler. I will definitely be there for the 16th when the slopestyle event is on. However, if I wrap up my stuff in Vancouver earlier than that, I will stay in Whistler for the duration of my trip. I am in BC from today until the 20th.
